Humans in Space (7:30 p.m., Hallam Lake) Join ACES in their final program in Winter Astronomy Nights. In this program, you’ll learn the who, what, where, and why of our cosmic ventures.

Masterpiece Mine: Inspired by Bauhaus (5:30 p.m., Red Brick Center for the Arts). Red Brick Center for the Arts is joining in on the international celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Bauhaus. Masterpiece Mine invites you to paint a piece of work by a Bauhaus teacher and enjoy a glass of wine as your create your masterpiece. Register online here.
Cycling through Central and Eastern Europe (6:00 p.m., Pitkin County Library). Experience Matthew Cull's incredible photography and entertaining tales as he recounts his 3 month, 6500 km journey by bicycle through 13 Eastern European countries from Estonia to Istanbul: a maze of old world cities, castles, villages, churches and bucolic countryside. This is Matthew's final presentation of the 2019 winter season.
Wednesday, March 20
Cliffhouse Full Moon Uphill Dinner (5:00 p.m., Buttermilk Mountain). Skin or hike up Tiehack on Buttermilk to dinner at Cliffhouse under the full moon. Get there early to enjoy free hot chocolate from 5-6 pm around the Cowboy Cauldron over a roaring fire. À la carte dinner options, snacks and a cash bar will be offered inside Cliffhouse.
The Unity of Physics: From New Materials to Fundamental Laws of Nature (5:30 p.m., Wheeler Opera House). Join renown physicist David Tong as he discusses his exciting insights and answers questions on his current research.
Thursday, March 21
Snow Screw Demonstrations at Buttermilk (4:00 p.m., Base of Buttermilk). Experience a first-generation snow machine in action during kids’ après at Buttermilk! Gear-heads of all ages will enjoy seeing this wild ride!
The Met Live in HD: Bizet’s Carmen (5:30 p.m., Wheeler Opera House). Co-presented with the Aspen Music Festival and Wheeler Opera House, the final Met Live in HD this season is not to be missed by any opera music fan. Purchase tickets at the Wheeler Opera House box office or online here.
Friday, March 22
KickAspen Big Air (8:00 p.m., Base of Aspen Mountain). KickAspen Big Air is a one-night ski and snowboard Big Air competition in which athletes battle it out under the lights at the base of Aspen Mountain. Dress warmly and join us for the action with live music and a Bud Light beer garden. Connect with the event online by using the hashtag #KickAspen

Saturday, March 23
Guided Tour at Aspen Art Museum (1:00 p.m., Aspen Art Museum). Spend your afternoon at the Aspen Art Museum in a guided tour led by museum staff. The tour is free, and drop-ins are welcome.
Aspen Laugh Festival: Marc Maron (7:30 p.m., Wheeler Opera House). Critically acclaimed and Emmy-nominated comedian Marc Maron will be performing at the Wheeler Opera House presented by Aspen Laugh Festival. Purchase tickets online here and don’t miss this hilarious standup performance.
Sunday, March 24
Aspen Mountain Film Festival Presents: The River and the Wall (6:30 p.m., Wheeler Opera House). Join Aspen Mountain Film as they present a documentary that follows five friends on an immersive adventure through the unknown wilds of the Texas borderlands as they travel 1200 miles from El Paso to the Gulf of Mexico on horses, mountain bikes, and canoes.
Monday, March 25
History Ski Tour: Aspen Highlands (11 a.m. and 1 p.m., guest service cabin outside Merry Go Round). Ski with a local historian to learn about Aspen Highlands’ “maverick”, innovative, and unique past. These tours meet every Monday at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. The tours are free, but a lift ticket is required to get to the meeting location.
